EO GAS™ SERIES 3-PLUS STERILISERS

Is your product small or made in batches which are uneconomic for large sterilizers?
The EOGAS™ systems will offer you a real benefit if you have small batches of product to sterilise which do not fit into the processing systems of contract sterilizers.

Do you want to minimise handling of product and transport costs?
If you want to retain control over your production, using these systems you will always know where your product is.

Do you have hospital returns which need decontaminating?
The EOGAS™ system not only offers a completely safe and reliable method of decontamination it can be use as a convenient way of testing how development products are effected by sterilisation.

Product Benefits

  • Very low gas consumption
    • Uses 1/5th the amount of EO of closest competitor
    • Cartridges and sterilisation bags match load volume rather than chamber size
  • Multi-load capacity - EO is introduced directly into the packages, allowing the operator to load new bags and unload finished bags while other are being processed
  • Easy installation - no water or vacuum source required

Technical Information

All mechanical and electrical components are located within the top section of the sterilizer removing the separate ventilation box. The exhaust of the gas is via a 3/8" flexible PVC tube which can be extended to 100 feet via four 90 degree turns. The tube can be run through existing exhaust ducting or exit via a window, removing the need for extensive building works .

Pumps
The dual pump system can evacuate the sterilizer chamber at 38 litres / minute via a newly designed purge tube giving a much improved air wash.

Back Pressure Monitor
The original ventilation alarm has been replaced with a monitor to give a reading on the backpressure. A high constant reading indicates that the exhaust system may be compromised.

EO Consumption
The Anprolene systems use only 17.5 grams of EO per cycle.

Monitoring of Sterilisation
The efficacy of each sterilisation cycle can be demonstrated using biological indicators. Process indicators may also be used to control inventory and indicate whether or not the product or pack has gone through sterilisation. Both types of indicators are available from MET.

Refill Kits

Each Refill Kit includes:
  • Sterilising gas ampoules: 15, 735 or 920 cc
  • Liner bags: capacity 7L or 35L
  • Twist seal closures
