Our company
MET started providing technical and scientific solutions to medical device manufacturers in 1997. Since then we have grown to be the trusted partner of many companies manufacturing medical, surgical or pharmaceutical products. This is no accident, but is the result of our dedicated efforts, our knowledge of the regulatory environment, our broad experience of devices and their production and the expert advice we are able to give on issues ranging from R&D to customer returns analysis. What we do
We supply specialist testing and validation services with wide-ranging study capabilities. Time often being of the essence in the healthcare market, our efficient project management ensures we deliver accurate results quickly.
We sell and support a broad portfolio of packaging machines and quality assurance test equipment sourced from leading manufacturers. These machines have been used by medical device and pharmaceutical companies worldwide for decades and we therefore have a wealth of experience in catering to the stringent demands of the industry. Multiple technologies are utilised to provide our customers with the best-suited, most reliable and cost-effective technical solutions. Our selected sterilisation consumables bring answers to the last stages of the production process.
MET's flagship activity lies in the testing and validation of medical devices and their packaging, conducted in our ISO 9001-2008 accredited laboratory facilities in Kent. To support CE marking and FDA submissions, companies large and small come to us for stability studies, sterile barrier studies, biocompatibility testing, bench testing and product complaint analysis. Strategic partnerships enable us to offer studies not yet available in-house, with the most recent one allowing us to conduct tests on interventional devices including radial force measurement, trackability and insertion forces and fatigue studies on heart valves and stents.
